Former President Hosni Mubarak’s newborn grandson has been granted the necessary documents to travel from London to Cairo after being born a week ago at a London hospital.
Gamal Mubarak’s newborn had reportedly been denied a birth certificate by the Egyptian embassy in London, where officials cited the legal necessity of his father’s presence. Gamal, his brother Alaa and the former president are serving a three-year prison term over charges of abusing state funds.
