NASL calls for marches to Azhar University to support students

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy (NASL) called on university students to stage marches to Al-Azhar University starting Monday in solidarity with their colleagues against the “aggression by Interior Ministry and coup troops against universities.”

In a statement on Sunday, the alliance said the students will win, the strike succeeded and that Al-Azhar students resumed peaceful resistance against ‘troops of murder, burning and aggression’.

NASL called on supporters to take to the streets in Nasry City and rally “marches to support steadfastness of the students movement in university of martyrs.”

“The strike of the students has caused the military coup authorities to lose what remained of their minds and balance and pressured them to shed more Egyptian blood and commit brutal crimes,” the statement said. It also called for igniting strikes everywhere gradually to reach what the revolution seeks.

The Alliance called on supporters across governorates to rally and join the “revolutionary mobility” in Cairo starting in January and be part of  the “people’s revolution against the military coup.”
