Police arrest 2 MB members over calling for January 25 protests

The Interior Ministry arrested two Muslim Brotherhood members on Wednesday for managing 47 Facebook pages that call for protests on January 25. 
 
According to a statement issued by the ministry Wednesday, the two defendants were accused of inciting action against state institutions.
 
The two suspects named by the statement are Mohamed A., 25, a resident of Giza, and Kawthar H., 21, a resident of Minya.
 
The statement metioned that Mohamed managed 41 Facebook pages that "incited against state institutions, promoted the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood beliefs, and incited demonstrations and marches on January 25". It added that when Mohamed was arrested, he was in possession of the computer he used for his Facebook activity.
 
Kawthar, who manages six Facebook pages, was arrested in Minya and confessed to sharing posts on the six pages that "incite against state institutions and incite marches on January 25".
 
She was also in possession of the computer she used to manage the pages, according to the statement.
