Police seize 2 tons of rotten fesikh, herring

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Minya Mahmoud Youssef announced on Monday the seizure of two tons of rotten fesikh and herring unfit for human consumption, before being put on market for Sham el-Nessim.

Youssef told Al-Masry Al-Youm that the rotten quantities were seized in the governorate over the past three days. Nineteen claims were filed with those quantities over the past three days and the suspects were referred to prosecutors for interrogation, he added.
