Pro-MB students protest killing of colleague on Ain Shams campus

Dozens of pro-Muslim Brotherhood students at Ain Shams University staged a march on Thursday to protest the killing of their colleague Abdel Rahman Yousry last Sunday and to demand the release of detained students.

The protest took place at the Faculty of Commerce.

Students broke the administration building's main gate and chanted slogans against the dean and president of the university, police, and the military.

They held posters of the slain Yousry with text reading "Police are Thugs" and "Down with the Bloody Constitution."

The students said that they planned a series of demonstrations on campus beginning on Saturday and until 25 January, under the slogan "Retribution."
