Suez University Oceanography Professor Mahmoud Hanafy has called for the use of scientific methods to monitor the spot where a shark attacked and killed a 52-year-old German tourist in the Red Sea on Saturday.
Hanafy also urged experts to follow up on the behavior of the shark that attacked, as well as others, in the Red Sea.
To avoid similar tragedies, Hanafy urged that the beach in question be closed for one week, not allowing for any swimming or diving.
