Quseir connected to Red Sea’s electricity grid

Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker will inaugurate an electricity line connecting the city of Quseir to the Red Sea province's power network on Tuesday.

The event will make Quseir the province’s fourth city to join the regional grid after Hurghada, Safaga and Ras Ghareb, with the hopes of completely resolving power outages in the city.

The installation of Quseir’s 88-kilometer connection to the network cost LE45 million.
