Rainfall expected throughout the country on Tuesday, Cairo 19C

Meteorologists expect rainy weather on Tuesday across most parts of Egypt, with very cold temperatures across all regions throughout the night.

Mist will affect visibility on Tuesday morning in different parts of the north, Suez Canal cities, Cairo, and Lower Egypt, and will be dense in some areas.

Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for most regions, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Red Sea mountains, Sinai, and northern areas of Upper Egypt.

Some regions will experience thunderstorms.

Winds will mostly be northwesterly and active on the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea, and Mediterranean Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation. Winds are expected to cause sandstorms and dust in southern regions and South Sinai.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to tough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters. Waves in the Red Sea will be tough and range between 3 to 3.5 meters, with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.

Generally, Tuesday’s weather will be moderate in the northern parts of Upper Egypt, warm on the south of Upper Egypt during the day, and very cold at night.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 24C in Qena, 25C in Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.
