Meteorologists predict hot weather to continue across Egypt on Saturday. More moderate temperatures are expected for the northern region, while southern Upper Egypt will be very hot in the daytime.
Temperatures expected include 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 43C in Luxor, and 43C in Aswan.
Temperatures across all regions will be more moderate at night.
Mist will affect visibility in northern Egypt’s morning hours. Low clouds are expected on the north coast.
Moderate winds will mostly flow north to northwest. They will be active in the south, accompanied by dust.
Winds are also expected to be active in the South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting navigation there.
Waves in and around the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while Red Sea waves are expected to be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 to 3 meters in height.
Northwestern surface winds are predicted on both seas.
