Sisi ranks first in AMAY’s ‘Personality of the Year’, Erdogan second

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ranked first in a poll by Al-Masry Al-Youm for the "Personality of the Year 2014" on the international level with 1,284 votes while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ranked second with 298 votes until Thursday morning.
 
Activist Alaa Abdel Fattah ranked first domestically with 2,676 votes, while retired Al-Ahly Club football player Mohamed Abu Trika ranked second with 501 votes.
 
The "Egyptian soldier" ranked third domestically with 411 votes, followed by satirist Bassem Youssef with 259 votes, former President Adly Mansour with 91 votes, space scientist Essam Heggy with 42 votes and then former President Hosni Mubarak with 36 votes.
 
Egyptian young inventor Asim Abdallah ranked eighth with 24 votes, followed by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb with 20 votes.
 
Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim ranked 13th with nine votes. AIDS cure inventor Ibrahim Abdel Aaty and governor of the CBE Hisham Ramez ranked 15th with six votes.
 
Strangely Egyptian activist who joined the IS Islam Yakan received five votes surpassing actor Amr Waked, presenter Lamees al-Hadidy and Mubarak's lawyer Farid al-Deeb.
