Sisi ranks first in Time magazine poll

Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is ranked first by 26 percent in a poll on the Time magazine website for the person of the year.
 
The poll closed at 7am Thursday, Cairo time.
 
Sisi gained 26.2 percent of readers’ vote, followed by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan by 20.8 percent, and the American young pop singer Millie Cyrus by 16.3 percent.
 
Time editor will announce the winner on Friday.
