Six protesters sentenced to 10 years hard labor

The North Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Judge Saeed al-Sayyad, sentenced six defendants to 10 years of hard labor in absentia on Sunday, for protesting outside the Nasr City Police Station without a permit.
 
The defendants are Ahmed Salama, Mohamed Abdel Hafiz, Mahmoud Sobhi, Soheib Ismail, Ali Ismail and Ahmed Hasaballah.
 
They were charged with assembling without permit, rioting, showing force, threatening violence and disturbing public security.
