Slight increase in temperatures on Wednesday, Cairo 37C

 

Meteorologists predict a slight increase in temperatures on Wednesday across Egypt.

Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing milder by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are; 37C in Cairo and 31C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility north of the country during the morning. Low and medium-level clouds are to be expected.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and mild. They will be active on southern Upper Egypt, South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds. Meanwhile, waves in the Red Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
