The temperature throughout the country is expected to rise between 10-11C above normal during this time of the year, said Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal.
The weather will be very hot during the day from Tuesday until Thursday. It will be moderate at night, he added.
Abdel Aal mentioned during a phone-in interview on the TV channel Al-Hayat Monday evening that temperatures will drop drastically starting Friday, accompanied by active, dusty winds which will affect visibility on roads, as well as navigation.
The temperature will drop again between 12-15C starting Friday, and it will be cold at night, he pointed out.
Abdel Aal warned citizens not to be deceived by the rise in temperature and wear light clothes, as it will get colder again.
