German travel agency Thomas Cook is resuming tourist trips to the Red Sea as of September 30.
"The situation in Egypt has stabilized significantly in the past few weeks according to the authorities and our branch there," said the company chief executive officer.
The decision includes the company's subsidiaries Neckermann Reisen, Bucher Last Minute Reisen, Oger Tours and Condor Airlines.
Like many German tour operators, Thomas Cook had canceled all trips to Egypt in August due to the security situation.
Cairo, Luxor and Aswan are still excluded from the programs as the German Foreign Ministry advised against traveling there.
