Three militants killed in North Sinai raid

Security sources in North Sinai announced that three militants belonging to Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis were killed and seven more were injured during an aerial raid south of Sheikh Zuweid village on Sunday.
 
Apache planes bombed the al-Hammadin area in Sheikh Zuweid after security forces received information on militants in the area, according to the sources.
 
A militant outpost, a private car and a motorcycle were also destroyed during the raid.
 
Violent altercations have occured in North Sinai between the Armed Forces and militants since the military ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
