On Tuesday, explosive experts defused two bombs in Fayoum governorate.
A security source said the bombs were found at a store, after clashes ended between police and Muslim Brotherhood supporters.
Authorities have not provided any further comments.
No groups have claimed responsibility for placing the bomb.
