Unstable weather, rain expected Wednesday

Meteorologists expect unstable weather on Wednesday accompanied by rain on most regions of Egypt.
 
Heavy rains are expected along the north coast, throughout the northern Delta and the Suez Canal cities. Rains would be moderate in strength across the southern Delta, Cairo and Sinai.
 
Low- and medium-level clouds are expected to the north.
 
Northwesterly winds accompanied by dust will be active in most of the regions. They may reach storm strength in the north, until northern Upper Egypt and Sinai, increasing the feeling of coldness and affecting visiblity on roads. Navigation would be significantly affected in the Mediterranean and Red seas.
 
The weather will be cold in the north and in northern Upper Egypt, moderate in south Sinai and southern Upper Egypt during daylight, very cold at night.
 
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to range between 4 to 5 meters in height, whereas in the Red Sea they will be between 3 to 4 meters. Surface wind in both seas will be northwesterly.
 
Maximum temperatures expected on Wednesday: Cairo, 15C, in Alexandria: 15C, in Qena: 20C, in Luxor: 21C, and in Aswan: 22C.
