Warm weather expected for Friday, 23C in Cairo

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expect warm weather across the country’s northern parts and in the north of Upper Egypt on Friday.

Hot weather will dominate the south of Upper Egypt in daylight, growing very cold at night throughout the entire country.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 23C in Cairo, 21C in Alexandria, 25C in Qena, 25C in Luxor, 26C in Aswan, 23C in Suez.

Low and medium-level clouds will cover northern Egypt, accompanied by rainfalls on the northern coasts.

Winds are southwesterly, active in the northern coasts, and will disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and will range between 2.5 and 3 meters, with southwesterly to south surface winds while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and 2 meters with northwesterly surface winds.
