Warm weather, possible rainfall for Egypt on Thursday

Meteorologists predict more warm weather across Egypt on Thursday during the day, with temperatures expected to grow cooler throughout the country at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 23C in Cairo and Alexandria, 24C in Qena, 25C in Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.

Low- and medium-level clouds are expected to form in Egypt’s north, coupled with possible rainfall along the northern coasts.

Meanwhile, mist is predicted to impact visibility in the morning across the northern region of the country as well, extending to northern Upper Egypt and growing denser in certain areas.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate and active in South Sinai, the northeastern coasts, the Red Sea, East of the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea are predicted to be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
