Cold weather forecast for Wednesday, Cairo 21C

 

Meteorologists expect cold weather across Egypt during daylight hours on Wednesday, with more moderate temperatures in southern Upper Egypt and growing very cold by night in all parts.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts until northern Upper Egypt in the morning.

Low and medium-level clouds are expected to increase in in Egypt’s northern regions.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 21C in Alexandria and Cairo, 24C in Qena and Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.

Winds are expected to be southeasterly and moderate, active and accompanied by dust and sand in the west. Winds will also be active west of the Mediterranean sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, while waves in the Red Sea will be light and range between half to 1 meter in height with southwesterly surface winds.
