Hot weather continues on Wednesday, Cairo 34 degrees

Hot weather is predicted across the Delta and Cairo for Wednesday, turning warm along the northern coasts, according to meteorologists.

Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen above the northwestern coasts and in the south, to be accompanied by scattered rain in some parts. There is a chance of heavier rains in the south and on the Red Sea mountains.

Visibility will be reduced due to morning mist in the Delta, Cairo and the canal provinces. Mild northeasterly winds will blow, whipping up sand and dust and disturbing maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez.

Highs of 34 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 27 degrees in Alexandria.

The height of Mediterranean and Red Sea waves will reach between 1.5 to two meters. Northwesterly winds will blow on both seas.

Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime. Highs of 42 degrees will be reached in Qena, 41 degrees in Luxor, and 44 degrees in Aswan.
